“Originally from Melbourne we were on a family holiday in Narooma and happened to stay in a house Tony had built some 12 years earlier. We were impressed with the quality of the building, finishes and design features.
When we decided to retire to Narooma and bought the block of land next door to our holiday stay we were determined to find the builder.
Tony wasn’t the only builder we spoke with, but he was the best.
He immediately had a vision for our land and home which was exactly what we wanted. Tony worked with our local architect and came up with several cost saving options over the course of the build.
One of the things that impressed us about Tony is his extensive knowledge, expertise and innovation. We needed those skills, as ours was a technically challenging build. Throughout the build every question or difficulty had a good outcome. We also had a lift installed which required minimal tolerances for the lift shaft. We were in Melbourne when the construction began and Tony provided frequent updates, including photos and videos, of the progress being made. Tony thinks ahead, anticipates potential issues and has them solved well before they become a problem.
Project management is a big part of any build and Tony has a great team of quality tradespeople and contractors working with him. With a tight schedule Tony had people working onsite every day for the entire build. Thinking months ahead he got the driveway cut in for his team to use, so it would be well compacted and ready by the time the concreters came. Our wrap around deck was built to save on scaffolding costs and so that it had time to weather properly before sealing. There was no time lost. From start to finish, Tony had it all under control. We had our occupancy certificate ahead of our deadline, one week before we had to leave our rental accommodation.
We have been in our home for four years now and are extremely happy. We highly recommend Tony to anyone who appreciates quality.”

I would highly recommend Tony Lawson for your building project. My wife & I recently purchased a 100 year old renovator’s delight. The whole house was stripped back to a bare shell & re-built keeping within the traditional style with a slightly modern beachy touch.
This involved removing asbestos, restructuring of the fireplaces & building both into the roof cavity & cutting into the ground for another level. Tony has a solid reputation for first quality work and the end result was fantastic!
